Access State Funded Training Opportunities

Is your career stuck? Do you need more training to land your dream job? Attend this session, Tuesdays at 2:00 pm, to learn about vocational training opportunities and one-on-one career coaching. Low-income Boston residents and people who have been laid off from a Boston employer are especially encouraged to attend.

After completing this workshop you will:

  1. Have an in-depth understanding of how to obtain training
  2. Know about the eligibility requirements to receive training funds
  3. Continue the process by completing an application (Customer Portfolio Summary) and being assigned a Career Navigator to assist you

Adult Basic Education (ESOL, GED/HiSET, Adult Diploma, Pre-GED, Literacy)

Do you want to advance in your job or career, but need further education? Did you drop out of high school, but have always wanted to complete your high school equivalency (GED/HiSET/Adult Diploma)?

OR, are you a non-native English speaker, who wants and needs further conversation, reading, and writing development to get a better job?

Come meet with the Adult Basic Education Navigator to get an assessment and be referred to free or low-cost in-person and online classes, tutoring, and/or other resources.
