Is your career stuck? Do you need more training to land your dream job? Attend this session, Tuesdays (bi-weekly) at 1:00 pm, to learn about vocational training opportunities and one-on-one career coaching. Low-income Boston residents and people who have been laid off from a Boston employer are especially encouraged to attend.
After completing this workshop you will:
- Have an in-depth understanding of how to obtain training
- Know about the eligibility requirements to receive training funds
- Have the opportunity to get connected with a Career Navigator to assist you
Do you want to advance in your job or career, but need further education? Did you dropout of high school, but have always wanted to complete your high school equivalency (GED/HiSET/Adult Diploma)?
OR, are you a non-native English speaker, who wants and needs further conversation, reading, and writing development to get a better job?

SkillBase is an initiative of the Project on Workforce at Harvard, a collaborative project between the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, the Managing the Future of Work Project at Harvard Business School, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
SkillBase will show you how to learn practical skills for future or current jobs. We identified the skills which employers across industries and job roles have rated as being the most important to learn. Then we picked content that is easy to use and contains relevant and valuable information.
