RESEA Program Steps

The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. Once you have received your first unemployment check, some of you will receive notification to participate in the RESEA program. The Career Center Seminar (CCS) is tailored to provide comprehensive insight of the diverse array of services, events, training opportunities, and programs offered at MassHire Downtown Boston Career Center. The primary goal is to empower and prepare Job seekers for their next employment opportunity.

Held every Monday at 1:00 pm and Wednesday at 10:30 am. If you have not yet attended CCS, register through JobQuest.

A RESEA team member will call you between 10am-4pm within two business days of your Career Center Seminar to complete your Initial RESEA Meeting. Please submit the following documents in advance of your Initial RESEA Meeting using the link provided by the RESEA Team.

  • UI Eligibility Assessment Questionnaire
  • RESEA Action Plan (CAP)
  • Individual Needs Assessment
  • Labor Market Research Worksheet
  • Your Resume 
  • Work Search Activity Logs (ALL logs from the time you started claiming unemployment until today)

This step must be completed at least 24 hours before your Final RESEA Review. Please note, JVS recruitment sessions do NOT fulfill this requirement.

A 30 minute ZOOM CALL to help you complete the RESEA process. A RESEA team member will schedule this for you during your Initial RESEA Meeting.
