Step 1: Register on MyMassGov JobQuest
Creating a MassHire JobQuest Account
- Go to the JobQuest Login page.
- On the blue MyMassGov login screen:
- If you already have a MyMassGov account, log in.
- Otherwise, click Create an Account.
- Verify your email:
- Enter your email and click Send Verification Code.
- Enter the 6-digit code sent from login@noreply.mass.gov and click Verify.
- Enter your name and set up a password (8–64 characters, must include at least 3 of: special character, number, uppercase, lowercase).
- Set up Multifactor Authentication (MFA):
- Choose Authenticator App or Phone (Text/Call).
- Enter your phone number, receive the 6-digit code, and click Verify.
- After setup, you’ll return to MassHire JobQuest. Complete the New User Registration by entering:
- Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and Last Name.
- If you already have a JobQuest account, it will be matched automatically. Otherwise, answer the required questions.
- Continue through the prompts until you reach your JobQuest Dashboard. From here you can search jobs, create your profile, sign up for workshops, and more.
Step 2: Become A Member
Member Form
- Once Step 1 is completed, you will receive an 8-digit Job Seeker ID number. Write this number down, as you will need it to complete the MassHire Downtown Boston Member Form.
- Access the Member Form.
- Enter your Job Seeker ID number.
- Complete all required fields.
- Submit.
